Having a technologically inclined boyfriend can sometimes be a pain in the neck. Actually, most of the times it’s quite amazing: not only do I get to learn a lot of new and interesting things, but I also don’t have to worry about things like slow internet connections or PC problems. However, I’ve come to discover that when it comes to presents, things get really complicated. In fact, the less technologically savvy you are, the more complicated things are bound to get. Since I’m a highly competitive person, it is very important for me to know that I’ve picked up the best possible present, so I never skip the step where I thoroughly do my research.
The holidays are a great time for you to show off and try to surprise your significant other with the perfect present. Here are some things that might actually impress him:
This is probably one of your cheapest options. If you know your boyfriend is a gamer, then you should get him something that he will surely enjoy. Pay attention to what games he is currently playing and try to get something similar. However, if the fact that your boyfriend is a gamer is something that’s bothering you, then you might want to reconsider. You definitely wouldn’t want to encourage him in an activity that you already hate.
- Video Game Consoles
If you really want to impress your boyfriend, then you could get him a console for Christmas. The thing about consoles is that there seems to be a very intense debate on which one is better. If you don’t want to mess anything up, I suggest you tell him about your plan so that you can buy the console together. This way, everybody will be happy.
- Smart watch
To be honest, I can’t seem to figure out what the deal with smart watches is. I heard my boyfriend mention them a couple of times and he seemed really interested in purchasing one. Even if i think all watches are useless, now that everyone has a smartphone which can help you tell time, this is exactly what I got my boyfriend for Christmas. There’s no need to say just how surprised he was and just how much he liked the present. Come to think of it, the only thing I needed to do is pay attention.
- Raspberry Pi
Raspberry Pi is basically a very tiny computer. It can do exactly the same thing your PC does, but the thing is that it is incredibly small and a lot cheaper than a PC. Again, I have no idea just why this item seems so interesting to my boyfriend, but I know for a fact that it is something he desperately wants. If everything goes well, maybe he will get it next year or even for his birthday.
